Ngaruawahia Week 13

Kia ora everyone!

This week was pretty good. I learned that I would be with my trainer ANOTHER transfer which is good because he is the man! He is "dying" in the mission this transfer and so President allowed him to stay an extra transfer because he wouldn't be very effective if he was sent to another area for just one transfer. But technically as of today, I'm no longer a greenie. I have graduated from my first 12 weeks.

This week has been a little slow with the work just because it's transfer week and we had a lot of other things keeping us pretty busy but we were able to do some good. We went to a remote area to do some door knocking and we actually did pretty well. We ran out of pamphlets and Book of Mormons to give away in less than an hour. It was pretty awesome and I am slowly coming to enjoy door knocking more. Slowly. Very slowly. But the work is still good on all fronts. Our investigator, Brandon, knows that Elder Suriben is going home in 6 weeks and told us that he wants me and Elder Suriben to be there for his baptism. Meaning he will try his best to get married in the next 6 weeks. And if not, he will personally book his ticket back to New Zealand from the Philippines. He is awesome.

That's me for the week. Hope everyone has had a good start to the New Year!
